OmniBus Update

My ass is dragging. The typical spring rush before reporting deadlines for government mandates is here with hurricane force. But, before I go home to sleep for a little while and reintroduce myself to my wife (remember me, baby?), I thought I’d scribble some quick thoughts and potential future topics of posts here. There should be something for everyone.

I’ve been waiting for some time to sit and put some research and effort into a discussion of the physics of weaponry. This started with a discussion about the evolution of rifles and weapons in general and wondering what the next big thing would be. Resulting from this discussion is a basic breakdown of the nature of weapons; mainly the transfer of force in the hope of disrupting the physical processes and structure disallowing life to continue. It will probably focus on the weapons, but with some research and conversation with the right friends, I may be able to delve into the recieving end (biology) of these weapons.

Another good discussion and likey a blog entry centers around the questions of what do we seek freedom from (or freedom to) and what would we do if we were as free as we wished. This conversation explored the conditions for freedom and the extremes of freedom. For instance, to be completely free (by a narrow definition) would mean to be without responsibility and thus completely and utterly alone. This ought to make a fine discussion and I hope more people will join B___ and I in this discussion. (T__, a.k.a. Mr. Parsley, where are you?)

To keep my reader occupied while I slave away in the next week or two, here are some links to sites of friends. K___ and T___ B___ have a blog here:, and Elvis Parsely , T___, has a 360 site here: (he always was a strange one…). There are also a multitude of links on the blog roll on the bottom left of the this blog page, as well as several worthwhile links in my previous blog entries.

Oh, and don’t forget my googlepages site:
