Ugly Americans

 

With Puritan Intolerance

And American Ingenuity

We Spread our Hate and Greed.

 

With Fictional Movies

And Sensational News

We Love to Watch you Bleed.

 

With Exploding Bombs

And Tainted Funds

We Repress and Maim and Kill.

 

With Shocking Indifference

And Insulting Arrogance

We Blithely Foot the Bill.

 

With Pitiful Ignorance

And Sad Obedience

We Become the Bigoted Minority.

 

With Servile Votes

And Thoughtless Submission

We Succumb to Arbitrary Authority.

 

With Treacherous Acts

And Endless Aggression

We Create Another Wart.

 

With Tainted Liberty

And Forgotten Purpose

Our Beauty we will Deport.
